A little while ago I tweeted “One thing phone-cams aren’t much good for is shooting out airplane windows.” Since then, I’ve noticed my Nexus 5X looking at me in a hurt sort of way.

It seems I was wrong. These are both taken somewhere over Australia.

The second picture is of Lake Eildon in Victoria.
They are decent photos for a phone camera inside a plane. Much easier than trying to get a fancy camera to do the same thing.
(BTW, I enjoy your blog - and as an Australian, I find it interesting to get a thoughtful outsiders perspective.)
