
Pear-blossoms actually, and en masse elegant; the individual flowers have a tough life but still deserve a look.
This old pear tree is hollow and scarred and a bit scraggly, but it’s just beside the porch where we eat outside when it’s warm and I’m terribly fond of it.

Our tree doctor says the tree is so old we shouldn't get it pruned too often.
