We paid a very nice visit to the excellent folks at the UBC Botanical Garden and I got a picture of a remarkable plant.
This is a Gunnera, and it’s big; for a sense of the scale, check out its previous appearance here at ongoing, in which it dwarfs my Dad.
It’s a remarkable plant, even in its autumnal wreckage.
