Office Schemas · Jean Paoli called last week to tip me off about the release of the MS Office XML schema-ware. It turns out that the actual data won’t be on view till December 5, so I don’t have a lot to say about the technical details. I also haven’t gone very deep on the patent and licensing issues, but Jean’s description made it sound like they’re trying not to get in the way.
