An awfully good editorial in the LA Times (free registration required) about executive-pay follies in the decomposing corpse of Key3Media, best-known as promoter of Comdex, another decomposing corpse.
Yet another story about corporate piracy might not be newsworthy, were it not for the fact that trade-shows used to be a pretty vital part of the technology culture where I make my home, and almost every trade show I know of (<plug>except for the one my wife chairs</plug>) seems to be in trouble these days. I'd hate to see the sector go, but this kind of thing does not encourage optimism.
